Declan Rice played well for West Ham United against Arsenal at the weekend.
Former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore has spoken highly of West Ham United youngster Declan Rice on Twitter following the match against Arsenal at the weekend.
Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, was superb in West Ham’s 1-0 win against Arsenal at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old scored the only goal of the match just three minutes into the second half, and the youngster also dominated proceedings in midfield.
According to WhoScored, Rice took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 85.4%, won two headers, and made two tackles and three interceptions and two clearances against Arsenal.
Collymore was impressed with the performance of Rice and has spoken highly of the West Ham youngster on Twitter.

Rice is one of the best young defenders in the Premier League, and the performances of the youngster for West Ham so far this season have been very encouraging.
The versatile footballer does have a bright future ahead of him, and West Ham have a true gem on their hands.
