West Ham have already rejected an offer for their star player, according to reports.
Arnautovic, 29, has made it clear that he wants to leave the London Stadium and move to China this month, with the Super League champions looking to land the Austria international.
West Ham have turned down an offer worth £35million despite buying Arnautovic for just £20million from Stoke City in the summer of 2017 - in what was a club-record fee.
Now, they could be set to more than double their money for the ex-Inter Milan and Werder Bremen attacker, who is a fan favourite among Hammers fans since joining the club.
Arnautovic managed 71 minutes of West Ham's excellent 1-0 win over London rivals Arsenal on Saturday, before waving to all four sections of the crowd when replaced by Andy Carroll.
It is believed Arnautovic could earn a whopping £300,000 a week by moving to Vitor Pereira's side, who are looking to bring in a big-name signing from overseas. A move would see Arnautovic join Brazilian stars Oscar and Hulk.
Since joining West Ham, Arnautovic has scored 19 goals and created 10 more in 53 league and cup appearances. Despite having a contract until the summer of 2022, it is believed that a £45million offer could prove too tempting.
