Beni Baningime has not featured for Everton’s first-team this season, and is reportedly keen to secure a loan move this month.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Beni Baningime is keen to leave Everton on loan during the January transfer window as he struggles to break into Marco Silva’s plans at Goodison Park.

Baningime is one of the brightest talents currently coming through with the Toffees. He made eight Premier League appearances last season, but he is yet to get the chance to add to that tally during the current campaign.

His path into the side is being blocked by the impressive form of both Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye. And it appears that he is keen to get some game-time elsewhere during the second-half of the season.

The Daily Mail reports that Baningime is keen to go out on loan this month. But with the Mail adding that Morgan Schneiderlin and James McCarthy are also attracting attention during this window, it will be interesting to see whether their situations have an impact on the 20-year-old’s immediate future.

Sending the academy starlet out into the Championship seems to make a lot of sense. He appears to be far enough away from Silva’s plans for the Toffees to not miss the youngster in the short-term.

But he has the potential to make a loan spell act as a turning point in his Everton career ahead of his return in the summer when he will have another chance to force his way into the first-team fold again.
