Everton boss Marco Silva has somewhat of a conundrum this summer with regards to what he does with Idrissa Gueye.
The 29-year-old has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Daily Mail, with the French giants allegedly prepared to pay £30 million for the midfielder.
Gueye would surely be tempted into joining PSG, and that might create a problem for Silva, as there will be little point in keeping a player who does not want to stay at Everton.
With his in mind, the Portuguese should consider sanctioning the midfielder's move to the French capital this month, on the one condition that they send Christopher Nkunku in the opposite direction.
Newcastle are reportedly keen on signing the 21-year-old, according to The Daily Mail (print edition, page 85, Friday, January 11, 2019), but the Merseyside outfit would surely be more of an attractive prospect for the young midfield ace.
The France under-21 international is a wonderfully dynamic player, and his energy and youthful vigour is exactly what Everton currently lack in the middle of the park.
Nkunku's playing style makes him the ideal central midfield partner for the more technically gifted Andre Gomes, and the fact that he is eight years younger than Gueye really should tempt Everton into doing business.
