Manchester City hero Yaya Toure could reportedly return to Britain with Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, having recently left Olympiakos.

Celtic have certainly enjoyed a busy start to the transfer window with Oliver Burke, Timothy Weah and Vakoun Issouf Bayo joining and USA left-back Andrew Gutman set to join them.
Now, the quartet all have a few things in common. They are affordable, young and players with a bright future. And it’s fair to say Celtic’s latest apparent transfer target is someone completely different.
According to Gazzetta.gr, the Scottish Premiership champions are considering a stunning deal to bring free-agent Yaya Toure to Parkhead in what would be arguably the most high-profile signing Scottish football has seen in many a year.
The 35-year-old is on the lookout for a new club after being released by Olympiakos after just five appearances.

And Gazzetta claims that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is communicating with first-team coach Kolo Toure, Yaya’s older brother, to find a way to bring one of the best midfielders of his generation to Glasgow.
The former Ivory Coast international represented Monaco and Barcelona during a stellar playing career but enjoyed his best spell at Manchester City, winning three Premier League titles before falling out of favour under Pep Guardiola.
