Derby County were beaten 2-0 at Leeds United on Friday night, losing as the 'Spygate' scandal surrounding Marcelo Bielsa broke.
Bielsa had sent a member of the Leeds staff to go and spy on Derby's training sessions, meaning there was added tension to Friday's meeting between the two sides.
Leeds were impressive again though, and grabbed a first half lead when Jack Clarke's cross was turned home by striker Kemar Roofe.
The Whites made it 2-0 straight after half time as Clarke was again involved, driving a cross in which wasn't dealt with by Scott Carson, and Jack Harrison tapped home from a cutback.
Leeds continue their push for promotion, but Derby are only two points inside the play-off places now after one win in the last five outings.
Frank Lampard may be looking to make the changes this month, and the Daily Record reported just days ago that Rangers are in talks about a deal to sign Derby midfielder Craig Bryson.
The 32-year-old has featured regularly under Lampard this season, but is out of contract at the end of the campaign and may fancy a move back to Scotland.
Rams fans seemingly wouldn't find that either, slating his performance on Friday by suggesting that it's time for him to go after eight years of service, adding that he is past it and a shadow of his former self, with some fans offering to take him to Glasgow to sign for Rangers if that's what it takes.
Our experienced players are letting us down. Keogh doesn’t know the meaning of ‘leader’. Carson a liability, Bryson has gone. Defended far too deep all game, gives Leeds impetus to push us further back hence the poor performance throughout. #dcfc #dcfcfans— Zak Winfield (@zakwinfield) January 11, 2019
If any Derby fan seriously thinks Bryson wasn’t the worst player on the pitch just watch his highlights. Forever 2nd to every ball, can’t pass for toff, can’t tackle and definitely runs round like a headless chicken. Good servant to the club but it’s time to say goodbye #dcfc— Zak Winfield (@zakwinfield) January 11, 2019
Bryson offers nothing other than constant niggly fouls. He’s been a good servant but it’s time to part ways. I can’t recall one game this season he’s played in where he’s impacted the game. #dcfcfans— Derby County Talk (@derbycountytalk) January 11, 2019
I’m sorry but Bryson has had it! Shadow of the player he was. No where near that cross #dcfc— Greg Ford (@gregford4) January 11, 2019
Bryson again. #dcfc not good enough. Time to go— Matthew Lawrence (@MattLawrence39) January 11, 2019
I would happily give Bryson a piggy-back all the way to Rangers. A good 18 months 4 years ago. Other than that useless... #DCFC— JJ McClure (@jakesteveono1) January 11, 2019
And if Glasgow rangers want Bryson I’ll drive him there myself #hisdaysareover— Lee Rippin (@roystonpoon69) January 11, 2019
