Beale, who joined Rangers in the summer of 2018 having previously worked at the Liverpool Academy and also as a youth coach at Chelsea, was pleased to see Rice produce a brilliant performance for West Ham against Arsenal at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
The 19-year-old, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, scored the only goal of the game just three minutes into the second half.
The talented and promising young teenager dominated proceedings in midfielder and was an imposing figure in the middle of the park.
According to WhoScored, Rice took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 85.4%, won two headers, and made two tackles and three interceptions and two clearances against Arsenal.
Rangers coach Beale has praised Rice, who was on the books of Chelsea from 2006 until 2014 before he moved to London rivals West Ham.
