The Saints manager is making a name for himself among the St Mary's fans and he's definitely taking the club to heart too.
Ahead of kickoff at the King Power Stadium, the Saints had only won away once in their last 12 games against the Foxes, a 4-0 win all the way back in December 2001.
However, Southampton took the lead on 11 minutes through James Ward-Prowse's penalty, after Shane Long was bundled over in the area by Nampalys Mendy.
The visitors then suffered a setback when defender Yan Valery was shown a second yellow card for a foul on Marc Albrighton, leaving Saints to play more than 45 minutes with ten men.
However, Shane Long doubled Southampton's lead just before the break by beating Kasper Schmeichel from a tight angle and, even though Wilfred Ndidi bundled home Ricardo Pereira's cross on 58 minutes, Ralph Hasenhuttl's charges held on for a crucial victory.
The former RB Leipzig manager has already endeared himself to the Southampton faithful big time and his latest show of affection, this time towards the club badge, is sure to make them love him even more.
Here are some photos from an encounter which could prove absolutely crucial to Southampton's survival hopes:
