Carson started for Derby in goal in their Championship game against Leeds away from home at Elland Road on Friday evening.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 2-0.
The former Leeds and Liverpool goalkeeper could have done better with the first goal.
Leeds fans have mocked Carson on Twitter, and below are some of the best comments:

17 passes from Leeds, no Derby player touches the ball apart from Carson's soft palm.
We didn't need to spy for that, we just looked at his old half term reports from Thorp Arch.
Mad to think just how different that game would have been without this so-called spy. Carson would have caught that cross, Keogh would have turned into Maldini and Clarke would have crumbled under the pressure. #DirtyLeeds #LUFC #DCFC— Ryan Nicholson (@xRyanMOT) January 12, 2019
We don’t need a spy, we have secret agent Carson! #lufc— Steve McDermott (@McDermott_Ste) January 11, 2019
Don’t need a spy to tell us about flappy hand Carson #LUFC— Reece Barker (@ReeceB2406) January 11, 2019

Leeds were the better team against Derby, and Marcelo Bielsa’s side deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
The West Yorkshire outfit could have scored more goals, and the win against the Rams has brought an end to Leeds’s three-game losing run in all competitions.
While Leeds remain at the top of the Championship table, Derby stay in the playoffs, but Frank Lampard’s side are looking over their shoulder, with the likes of Bristol City and Birmingham City closing in.
