The Resident Evil 2 community have found a laughably easy method for overcoming Capcom’s stinginess.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 demo is a stingy 30-minute tease where you’re forced to be connected to the internet. This has understandably resulted in complaints about there being too little time to properly appreciate all the happenings in the Racoon City Police Department. If you’re one of the many people sad about not being able to replay the demo, then you’ll be giddy to know there’s an unbelievably easy way to workaround Capcom’s time limit.
As reported by Eurogamer, the workaround figured out by the community is both laughably easy and obvious. To replay the demo after using up your 30 minutes, all you need to do is load it up on another account. That’s it. So long as you keep creating new accounts on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or Steam, you can replay every rookie’s worst nightmare as many times as you want.
Resident Evil 2 launches on January 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s the month’s must-play game next to Kingdom Hearts 3 and Catherine Classic, and its trophy list isn’t too intimidating. When you’re done killing zombies as sexy protagonists Leon and Claire, then you must leave Racoon City to play this Lovecraftian horror game that comes to consoles in February.
