Aston Villa forward Tammy Abraham has begun to interest Crystal Palace in recent times.
Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both been looking to snap up Abraham on a temporary basis, but the striker is now said to have decided that Villa is the place for him.
Abraham does not want to relocate himself on a loan spell, even if Premier League football is on offer, with Palace set to be turned down even if they manage to convince Chelsea to accept a loan bid.
Abraham feels his future is best served at Villa, and that should be a major boost to Dean Smith’s side.
The powerful forward currently leads the Championship’s scoring charts, with his form since moving to Villa Park nothing short of remarkable.
Smith, himself, admits that Abraham is a Premier League player who is playing in the Championship.
But Villa appear to now be in a strong position to keep hold of Abraham, even despite Palace’s new interest in the forward.
