Neutral supporters have predicted that Gary Rowett is going to get the Nottingham Forest job.
Aitor Karanka stepped down from from his post at the City Ground earlier today, after speculation over his future had been rife since December.
Karanka guided Forest to the outskirts of the play offs, but it was not enough to stop the exit rumours.
And it seems that the Spaniard decided that the best course of action was to resign from his job at Forest.
The Reds are now on the look out for another new manager, as they aim to push into the top six.
And many football fans from Championship sides think Forest will go after Rowett.
Hahahah - what an embarrassment of a team. Who do they think they are ???? Highest up the table they have been for years and now sack the manager. What a shambles. Wouldn’t surprise me if Rowett got the job— Steve Asanović (@dailyasanovic) January 11, 2019

Forest haven't finished in the top half of the table since the 2012/2013 season. Their fans wanted him to stay. Gary Rowett incoming.— Billy Butters (@Instantclass69) January 11, 2019
“It’s been a dream of mine to be the only manager to have managed the whole of the midlands, couldn’t turn this down” - Gary Rowett, Nottingham Forest Manager 2019— Reiss Mahon (@ReissMahon23) January 11, 2019
Rowett has only recently left his post at Stoke City, after failing to live up to expectations at the BET365 Stadium.
Rowett has already managed Forest’s rival Derby County, as well as Burton Albion and Birmingham City.
