Nantes’ Ligue 1 striker Emiliano Sala reportedly has doubts about moving to the Premier League with Cardiff City in the January transfer window.

Cardiff City have discovered that making a marquee signing is easier said than done.
Neil Warnock was left furious after losing Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth while a deal to sign Nice midfielder Adrien Tameze fell through this week, according to the Mail, despite the Bluebirds agreeing a £10 million deal.
No wonder Warnock is more determined than ever to snap up the coveted Nantes striker Emiliano Sala, as reported by the Sun (10 January, page 49).
The 70-year-old has already confirmed his interest in the rangy Argentine target man, who is in the form of his life right now with 12 Ligue 1 goals to his name, although it is understood that negotiations have been difficult so far.
Now, the Sun reports that Warnock is flying to France in an attempt to convince Sala to join him in South Wales. The former Bordeaux striker would cost a club-record £20 million.

The main sticking point, however, appears to be that 28-year-old Sala is angling for a bigger move as he enters the prime of his career.
The Mail claimed in November that West Ham, Everton and Wolves were also keen on Sala, although the trail has grown cold of late.
