PC gamers will finally be able to play Atlus’ unique, sexy, and morbidly absurd pick your Catherine.
As reported by Gematsu, the German USK has rated Catherine for PC. Titled ‘Catherine Classic’, the underappreciated puzzle game has been given a 16 age certificate and categorised as ‘denkspiel’ (thinking game).
Although PC gamers are getting one of the most unique, sexy, and morbidly absurd games of the decade, Catherine Classic will – unfortunately – most likely be the original rather than the Full Body expansion. This means PC gamers won’t be bothered by the pink haired Rin when choosing to be a faithful boyfriend or a sex-crazed cheat.
Catherine pretty much being confirmed for PC isn’t surprising. An ESRB rating for the original Catherine recently suggested it was coming to the so-called ‘master race’, and various Sega game pages on Steam have recently been infested with sheep.
While the original Catherine appears destined for PC, Atlus has teased a HUGE Catherine: Full Body announcement for January 11. With it having already been revealed that gamers will be able to play as Katherine, Catherine, and Rin, as well as Persona 5’s Joker, could Atlus’ tease be either a Western release date or a Nintendo Switch version?
