Celtic fans are attempting to talk Jeffrey Bruma into a move.

Celtic have landed three attacking reinforcements in a matter of days, but now it may be time for some defensive additions.

The Bhoys have landed winger Oliver Burke and forward Timothy Weah on loan from West Brom and Paris Saint-Germain respectively, as well as signing Dunajska Streda striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo permanently.

With Brendan Rodgers have three new forward options, but with Dedryck Boyata leaving at the end of the season or even earlier, a new centre back could still be targeted.

Marvin Compper is an outcast, Jack Hendry could head out on loan and Filip Benkovic is only a loanee himself, meaning a another permanent wouldn’t go amiss.

One player Celtic were linked with over the summer was Jeffrey Bruma, with Bild reporting that Brendan Rodgers was keen on a reunion with the Dutchman.

Rodgers coached Bruma with Chelsea, and Celtic fans are now hoping that the 27-year-old Wolfsburg defender signs despite major injury problems of late.

Bruma posted a tweet about God’s plan for his future, and Celtic fans have responded in droves telling him to come and help the Bhoys’ title push, adding that they will see him soon at Parkhead.

Others were urging Celtic to make the move, with many fans really keen to see Bruma try and kickstart his career in Glasgow in 2019.
