Josh Sims is back at his parent club, and Leeds United should consider a potential loan move this month as they reportedly look for a winger.

Jack Clarke’s emergence has unquestionably lessened Leeds’ need for a new wide-man. As has the improving form of Gjanni Alioski. But it does appear that Bielsa could be on the lookout for a new signing.
And perhaps one player that Leeds should consider is someone that has already caused them a problem this season, and may perhaps be available after seeing his Championship loan terminated.
Josh Sims spent the first-half of the season at Reading. Of course, it has been a miserable season for the Royals so the alarm bells may be ringing already regarding this suggestion, especially as the Daily Echo reports that it was the new Reading boss Jose Gomes that terminated the deal.

It appears a surprising decision, and Sims could be an exciting addition on loan. He provided two assists during his time at the Madejski Stadium, and it was his run that prompted Barry Douglas to commit the foul that led to a penalty in Leeds’ 1-0 win against Reading in November.
The 21-year-old has looked bright whenever he has been given his chance in the Premier League for Southampton, and it certainly surprised some that he was given the green light to leave in the summer.
If he remains available, Leeds should consider taking a chance on the youngster. It may not initially appear to be the most exciting deal, but he is a player with a lot of potential, and in a better side, he could show why Reading made a terrible mistake letting him leave this month.
