HITC Sport understands a number of League One clubs are chasing Luton defender Lloyd Jones on loan.

Luton Town are willing to send highly-rated defender Lloyd Jones out on loan during this month’s transfer window, with a number of clubs chasing his signature, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Luton boss Nathan Jones has given his player the green light to go out on loan in the second half of the season to get regular first-team action under his belt.
The defender is unlikely to break into Jones’ high-flying starting XI as Luton look to maintain their push for promotion to the Championship.
The 23-year-old, who joined Luton from Liverpool last January, has made only five first-team appearances this season, but he is highly-regarded at Kenilworth Road.

Luton feel Jones would benefit by going out on loan to continue his development, before returning next season to challenge for a spot in the side when Luton hope to be in the Championship.
Coaching staff feel accomplished defender Jones would be better suited to playing at a higher level like the Championship rather than League One.
Jones joined Liverpool from Plymouth Argyle back in 2011, and he impressed in the youth ranks at Anfield but was unable to establish himself in the first-team.
The talented central defender caught the eye out on loan at Blackpool, Accrington, Cheltenham and Swindon Town during his time at Liverpool and a number of clubs are ready to take him on loan this month from Luton.
