After Resident Evil 2, You Must Play This Scary Horror Game

Conarium Game

After killing every zombie in Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake, you need to leave Racoon City behind to play the H.P. Lovecraft inspired, Conarium.

Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake is one of the year’s most highly anticipated video games, and understandably so. However, once your done shooting zombies in the face and stomping on their rotten brains to earn the game's platinum trophy, you need to immediately leave Racoon City behind to play Zoetrope Interactive’s Lovecraftian horror game, Conarium.

First launched in June 2018 on Steam, Iceberg Interactive has announced that Conarium will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One in February. The publisher hasn’t confirmed a specific release date, but in their post they mentioned some of the visual features the console release will boast:

“We’re proud to be delivering a visual quality on par with the PC version – Conarium boasts real-time lighting, dynamic shadows and highlights on all platforms. Another hurdle has been level streaming and resource management. Getting the balance right and ensuring smooth loading has been a priority for us – but we’re almost there!”

Based on H.P. Lovecraft’s At The Mountain Of Madness, Conarium is a first-person horror game that sees you playing as a research scientist stationed at Antarctica. Fans of Resident Evil 2 and other survival horror games will enjoy exploring the creepy locales to solve puzzles and find clues, all while being obsessed with one of the most disturbing narratives that has made H.P. Lovecraft so renowned.

Conarium is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in February. Although Call Of Cthulu was a disappointing descent into madness, fans of survival horror games and H.P. Lovecraft should definitely give Conarium a chance to turn them insane.
