Kiril Despodov is reportedly wanted by Aston Villa, Cardiff City and Middlesbrough.

Aston Villa, Cardiff City and Middlesbrough are interested in signing Kiril Despodov from CSKA Sofia in the January transfer window, according to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 67, Sunday, January 6, 2019).

It has been reported that the 22-year-old Bulgaria international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, is rated at £5 million.

Promising talent

Despodov is a very talented and promising young attacking player who is playing well at the moment and has a bright future ahead of him.

The Bulgaria international has scored eight goals in 16 league appearances for CSKA Sofia so far this season and two goals in five Europa League qualifying games, according to WhoScored.

The youngster will be a good signing for a club in the Championship or in the Premier League in the long run.

Villa, Cardiff and Middlesbrough all could do with a new striker in the January transfer window for the second half of the season and beyond.

While the Villans and Boro are aiming to win promotion from the Championship, Cardiff are attempting to avoid the drop from the Premier League.
