Aston Villa striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy will reportedly choose between two clubs as he prepares for a January loan exit.

According to a report from The Sun on Sunday (06/01; page 63), Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is being chased by Charlton Athletic and Coventry City, with both hoping to loan the Aston Villa starlet during the second-half of the season.
Hepburn-Murphy has long been considered one of the more exciting prospects currently coming through at Villa. He has made five substitute appearances in the Championship this season, but all of those came under Steve Bruce.
He is yet to appear since Dean Smith’s appointment, and may now be about to head out on loan for the rest of the season, with two offers reportedly on the table.

Both sides are in promotion contention in League One, with Charlton fourth in the table and Coventry further back in eighth. Lee Bowyer’s men will still harbour hopes of pushing themselves into the top two, while Coventry have seven points to make up to get into the play-off spots.
Charlton, of course, took Villa goalkeeper Jed Steer on loan during the first-half of the season. The stopper proved to be an excellent signing before being recalled by his parent club, so perhaps his fortunes could help Bowyer’s side lure the striker to The Valley.
