The Guns ‘n’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has released his first new song in 10 years and it’s clear to see his time in ACDC has had an effect on him.

Axl Rose, fresh off a year of touring with Guns ‘n’ Roses, has released a new song called Rock the Rock. The track is accompanied by a Looney Toons-style video – as it accompanies the upcoming Boomerang series – that is, unsurprisingly, centred around the man himself. Watch and listen below.

Axl Rose perfoms on stage during the Guns N’ Roses ‘Not In This Lifetime’ Tour at Domain Stadium on February 21, 2017 in Perth, Australia.

It is that close to pretty much every song in their back catalogue, that the track could quite easily be confused for a collaboration with AC/DC – the band he has stood in for as frontman numerous times since 2016, when Brian Johnson was forced to step aside with hearing issues. And as with much AC/DC’s output, it will be on repeat for some and consigned to memories happily forgotten for others.
