Motherwell fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the signing of Ross McCormack from Aston Villa.
McCormack has joined Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on loan from Villa in the Championship in England.
The 32-year-old striker will be at the Fir Park Stadium until the end of the season.
The former Leeds United and Fulham striker has been on loan at Australian club Central Coast Mariners, but the Scotland international has had injury problems in recent weeks.
McCormack, who started his professional club football career at Rangers, was on the books of Motherwell from 2006 until 2008.
Delighted to welcome Ross back to Motherwell. Really loved his quote about putting something back into the club that helped launch him! Top man.— Alan Burrows (@Alan_Burrows) January 5, 2019
Second signing won’t be far behind either. Keep checking the official feed over the next few days as we finalise the deal! https://t.co/epxg37ZLHY

I'll reserve judgement til I've seen him play. Welcome back and well done to the club— Ross Fulton (@rfulton83) January 5, 2019
Motherwell are ninth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 21 points from as many matches.
Stephen Robinson’s side will take on Ross County at home in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on January 19 before facing Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on January 23.
