The Baggies and Scotland ace will spent the rest of the season on loan at Parkhead but some Hoops fans aren’t too pleased.

Reigning Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have bolstered their ranks ahead of the second half of the 2018-19 season with the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion winger Oliver Burke.
The Scotland international, valued at £9m by Transfermarkt, has struggled for first-team opportunities at The Hawthorns since joining the Baggies for a reported £15m from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig in August 2017.
Indeed, Burke has not started a single Championship game this term under Baggies manager Darren Moore and has made just six senior appearances overall for a total of 292 minutes, according to Transfermarkt.
As a result, a move has been negotiated that will see the 21-year-old spend the remainder of the season on loan at Parkhead, though Albion sporting and technical director Luke Dowling stressed that the Hoops have no option to buy.
“We will be keeping a close eye on his progress and still believe that in Oli we have a talented player who we are anxious to develop and progress,” Dowling told the official West Brom site in the statement which confirmed Burke’s departure.
Celtic, who are currently top of the Scottish top flight but level on points with bitter rivals Rangers, will be eager for Burke to hit the ground running and aid their cause when the season resumes later this month.
