HITC Sport understands a number of clubs are chasing former Bolton loanee Remi Matthews.

Several Championship clubs are weighing up a move for Norwich goalkeeper Remi Matthews after Bolton were unable to make his loan deal permanent, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Matthews joined Bolton on loan in the summer with the deal to become permanent on January 1st when the transfer window opened.
However, Bolton have been unable to make the move for Matthews permanent because they are under a transfer embargo for breaching EFL regulations.
Matthews, who made four appearances during his loan stint at Bolton, has now returned to parent club Norwich.

Norwich are willing to let Matthews move on again before the close of the transfer window as he is unlikely to break into Daniel Farke’s high-flying Canaries side in the second half of the season.
Matthews has come through the ranks at Norwich, but he has spent much of his time at Carrow Road out on loan at Burton Albion, Doncaster Rovers, Hamilton, Plymouth and Bolton.
News of Bolton’s failure to secure Matthews on a permanent deal has alerted a number of clubs to the goalkeeper’s availability.
