West Bromwich Albion would be a making a sensational signing if they can bring in Victor Wanyama this month.

Albion are said to be in the market for the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, according to the Daily Mail.

Darren Moore’s side believe that Wanyama could be a quality addition to their midfield, and if they did snap up the Kenyan he would surely be their finest signing for years.

Wanyama wouldn’t just be a good signing for West Brom in the Championship, he would have been a wonderful addition for them while they were still in the Premier League.

And if West Brom could have Wanyama shielding their defence, promotion would look a really strong possibility.

Albion arguably have the Championship’s finest attack, but it is at the back where they need to improve.

Wanyama could be the finest defensive midfielder in the second tier if he was to move to the Hawthorns, and if West Brom have any chance of completing a deal they should push hard to do so.
