Liverpool starting line-up and substitutes:
Manchester City head into tonight's clash at the Etihad in desperate need of a victory, with Liverpool currently sitting top of the pile, seven points clear of Pep Guardiola's side.
The Citizens have proven that they are not infallible this season, losing three times in their last five Premier League outings.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been in scintillating form, winning their last nine Premier League games, and they currently sit six points clear of second placed Tottenham.
Many are tipping the Reds to go on and win their first top flight title since 1990, but it would be foolish to rule out Manchester City just yet, especially if Pep's men turn over the Merseysiders at the Etihad tonight.
History is certainly on Liverpool's side. They have won three and drawn one of their last four competitive clashes with City, but they will need to be at their very best tonight to continue that fine streak.
The game kicks off at 20:00, and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.
