Thorgan Hazard has been in outstanding form in the Bundesliga this season and the former Chelsea winger could return to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

It speaks volumes about Thorgan Hazard’s development in recent months that he has scored as many goals as his older brother, the Chelsea superstar Eden, this season.

Hitting the net 12 times and assisting a further seven in a stellar 2018/19 campaign, Hazard Jr has stepped out of his sibling’s shadow to establish himself as a hugely talented attacker in his own right; albeit one with plenty of similarities to Chelsea’s influential number ten.

And, according to Bleacher Report, Thorgan could join Eden in the Premier League soon with Tottenham Hotspur understood to be interested in a player who spent a short time in Chelsea’s academy before moving to Germany.

Blessed with speed, directness and an ever-improving end-product, Hazard would simply offer another thrilling attacking weapon to Mauricio Pochettino’s armoury.

But could Tottenham's bitter rivals Chelsea have just scuppered any chance of seeing the Belgian international ply his trade in North London.

According to Bleacher Report, Borussia Dortmund are understood to be leading the chase for Hazard, with BVB boss Lucian Favre having signed the Belgian international during his time as the manager of Gladbach.

It is claimed that Dortmund see Hazard as a potential replacement for Christian Pulisic, who will move to Chelsea at the end of the season with a £63 million deal having been confirmed on Wednesday morning, according to the Independent.

With Pulisic set to leave, and with £63 burning a hole in their back pocket, Dortmund are now expected to go all-out for Hazard later in 2019. Tottenham will be hoping that Chelsea have not just ruined their plans.
