Celtic are linked with Vakoun Issouf Bayo this month.

Celtic would be signing a ‘killer in front of goal’ if they can tie up a deal for Vakoun Issouf Bayo, says Ivory Coast’s manager.
Dunajska Streda have rebuffed Celtic’s bid of £1.75 million and want around £2.7 million to greenlight his move to Parkhead, according to The Record.
The Hoops are in desperate need of another striker, with Odsonne Edouard currently Brendan Rodgers’s only goalscoring option up front after Leigh Griffiths was ruled out for a number of months due to personal reasons.
Bayo has netted 10 goals in 16 starts for the Slovakian side side this season, and Ibrahim Kamara reckons that the 21-year-old hitman has ‘huge potential’.
“He’s quick, direct, has an eye for goal and has the physique to be a top player. He’s very powerful when he gets into his stride,” Kamara told The Record. “I call him a killer in front of goal.
“Perhaps people here won’t know him so well because he’s been playing in other leagues and not many people know about the Slovakian league. But he has a very good record there and has got huge potential.
“He is also an aerial threat and if he keeps progressing can become a very good player for us.”
Time will tell whether Celtic get this deal done, but it’s really important if manager Brendan Rodgers wants him.
The Bhoys won’t want this to develop into another transfer saga akin to what happened with John McGinn. The Parkhead faithful will just demand that the extra £1 million is paid and then Rodgers can look at strengthening other areas of his squad.
