'Sign him ASAP', 'Rubbish': Everton fans react to report linking them with Michy Batshuayi

Everton are interested in signing Michy Batshuayi in January, according to a report from the Daily Mail, and Everton fans took to Twitter in reaction to hearing the news.

The 25-year-old joined Chelsea from Marseille in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth somewhere in the region of £33.2 million, but he has struggled to establish himself in the Premier League.

 

He has spent loan spells away with Borussia Dortmund and most recently Valencia, but if the Daily Mail are to be believed, he might just be plying his trade back in England soon.

Everton have been decent this season, but they clearly require more of a threat through the middle, and Batshuayi could be just the man for the job at Goodison Park.

The Chelsea-owned ace is quick off the mark, possesses exceptional movement, and would offer Marco Silva a totally different option in attack.

Some Everton fans don't seem to be convinced by the Belgium international, however...
