Brown is set to leave Tottenham and Celtic should consider a move.
Football London report that the 19-year-old, who turns 20 in January, is in talks with David Wagner's Premier League outfit over a January move to Yorkshire as his contract looks set to expire at Spurs.
Indeed, Brown's current deal runs out in June and Spurs will surely be willing to offload the England youth international in a bid to bring in a transfer fee for the young defender, rather than letting him leave for nothing.
But Celtic should consider a bid to rival Huddersfield and lure him to Celtic, after 32-year-old Emilio Izaguirre's disappointing display against Aberdeen earlier this month.
The experienced Honduran struggled against the Dons in place of the injured Kieran Tierney, and was dropped by Brendan Rodgers for the Old Firm derby against Rangers - with Callum McGregor playing at left-back.
Celtic may look to bring in back-up for Tierney and replace Izaguirre, who is also out of contract at the end of the season. Rodgers is known for his faith in youth and Brown boasts plenty of potential.
Though Brown has failed to break into Mauricio Pochettino's first team, he is a regular in the club's reserve side and has clocked up 21 appearances this season - scoring three goals and creating three more this season.
Likely to be available for a bargain fee, Celtic can add a player with plenty of promise and potential as back-up to Tierney - as well as one who offers versatility on the left side of midfield. Rodgers has to consider a move.
