Celtic are reportedly interested in bringing Oli Burke to Parkhead as he struggles for game-time with West Bromwich Albion.

According to a report from the Daily Record, Celtic are weighing up a January loan move for Oliver Burke, with West Brom considering loaning the winger out next month.

Burke has endured a difficult time with the Baggies. After arriving for £15 million (via Daily Record), the wide-man has struggled to break into the side and has only made a handful of substitute appearances for the club in the Championship this season.

The Record suggests that West Brom are ready to allow the 21-year-old to leave The Hawthorns for the rest of the campaign, and Celtic are one of the sides interested in pursuing the former RB Leipzig starlet.

The Record adds that Burke is aware of interest from Celtic.

While things have not worked out well for Burke at West Brom, he could be an excellent addition for Celtic if Brendan Rodgers is able to get him back towards something like his best.

Burke has so much potential. And if he is starting regularly for the Hoops, he would have plenty of opportunities to produce the kind of magic that prompted Leipzig and West Brom to spend eight-figure fees on him.

If Celtic could get the best out of him, he could be an inspired signing for the Bhoys and perhaps prove to be one of the additions who helps the champions shut the door on any title challenge from elsewhere.
