Sheffield United are reportedly interested in the Norwich City winger, who is currently on loan to Bolton Wanderers.

Fans of Bolton Wanderers and Norwich City are reacting on Twitter to reports linking Sheffield United with Yanic Wildschut.

Norwich are reported to have paid around £7 million for Wildschut two years ago, but have loaned him out in each of the last two campaigns – first to Cardiff City and now Bolton.

The Dutch winger has scored two goals and assisted none in 17 games for the Trotters this season, but according to the Sun on Sunday (December 30, page 56), that has not put off Sheffield United.

The newspaper reports the Blades are interested in taking Wildschut on loan for the rest of the campaign, despite the player being due to spend it at Bolton.

But what do those of a Trotters (and Norwich) persuasion make of the potential Sheffield United recruit?

This is what they’re saying…

Norwich and Sheffield United are currently competing for automatic promotion to the Premier League, which could affect the Canaries’ decision-making when it comes to loaning out Wildschut again.

Could Wildschut be a good addition for Sheffield United?
