The West Ham United boss is used to winning games regularly.

West Ham ace Michail Antonio spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and shared what Manuel Pellegrini tells the players ahead of every single game that they play.

The Hammers have been in fine form of late, winning five of their last six games, and they have the chance to climb up to seventh in the table today, should they win away at Burnley.

West Ham began their season in woeful fashion, losing their first four Premier League games, but they have really improved over the past few months.

Pellegrini’s men have achieved some fabulous results, and there is a genuine feeling within the club that anything is possible this season.

Antonio spoke to reporters, and highlighted how the Chilean’s mindset and winning mentality gives him and his teammates great belief heading into every game that they play, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“The boss says we need to think like we’re a big team. He tells us that we shouldn’t go into any games, even against the likes of Chelsea or against Manchester City, and try to draw those games. We are going out there to win every single time. We are believing that we are a big team, and that is down to the belief he is putting in us.”

West Ham travel to Burnley today, before hosting Brighton on Wednesday, and a return of six points from those games would put them in a great position from which to secure a Europa League spot come the end of the season.
