The Whites boss has led his side to the Championship summit, and the West Ham vice-chairman thinks he is their very own “Special One”.

There is no doubt that Marcelo Bielsa is one of the most inspiring appointments in the Leeds United hotseat this century.
In the space of just a few months since his appointment, the legendary coach has turned a side which finished 13th in the Championship table last term into one currently topping the standings.
Bielsa has also turned Leeds into a side which is entertaining and efficient, able to play flowing football as well as grinding results out and mounting spectacular late comebacks – not to mention having done so with so many injuries at the back.
It all bodes well for the second half of the season, and according to one of the best-known executives in English football, the Whites appear to have found their new “Special One” who can have as much impact on the club as one of their most famous managers of all time.

West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady thinks Bielsa could be as remarkable for Leeds as Don Revie, who managed the club between 1961 and 1974, winning several trophies including two First Division titles and an FA Cup in the process.
Writing in her weekly column in The Sun, Brady said: “At long last, after 19 bosses in 14 years, Leeds United look fit and ready to return to the Premier League under their most remarkable manager since Don Revie.
“With his experience of managing at the very highest level – Argentina, Chile and a host of clubs – Bielsa will remain a calming presence as rivals swarm. I rather think Leeds have found their own Special One.”
