Leeds United beat Blackburn 3-2 on Boxing Day.

The Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper, David Raya, will have hoped that his time-wasting antics against Leeds United on Boxing Day would have been buried by the stoppage-time furore at Elland Road.

But despite seeing their side score twice to overturn what looked to have been a last-minute winner for Blackburn, Leeds fans do not appear to have forgotten.

Raya appeared to awake from his slumber to celebrate Charlie Mulgrew’s goal in exuberant style, having spent the bulk of the second half operating in slow motion – much to the Whites’ fans’ frustration.

But the Spaniard was left with egg on his face after Kemar Roofe’s quickfire double, which kept Leeds top of the Championship.

And he has since found himself bombarded with tweets from those of a United persuasion…

A Derrick Williams own goal gave Leeds a half-time lead over Blackburn, but Mulgrew’s brace had Raya sprinting down the Elland Road pitch.

The visitors’ lead lasted less than two minutes, with the Whites back in front within six.

What can stop Leeds United now?
