Sheffield Wednesday are expected to have a new boss soon.

Lee Bullen looks set to be given at least one more game as Sheffield Wednesday's caretaker manager, as the Owls await the appointment of Steve Bruce.

Bullen oversaw Wednesday's 1-0 win against Preston on Saturday - which was only their second victory in 11 attempts.

And given his predecessor's tendancy to mix things up win, lose or draw in the latter stages of his doomed reign, the former Sheffield Wednesday captain may be tempted to keep changes to a minimum against Middlesbrough on Boxing Day.

Bullen does, however, have key midfielder Barry Bannan back from suspension, and although he is likely to start it is hard to advocate dropping his recent stand-in, Josh Onomah.

And that could see the pair paired together at the Riverside, in lieu of - perhaps - a second striker, especially as Steven Fletcher often struggles to play three times in a week.

Cameron Dawson, Ashley Baker, Daniel Pudil, Jordan Thorniley, Sam Hutchinson, George Boyd and Atdhe Nuhiu are all standing by to return, meanwhile.

This is how we suspect Sheffield Wednesday could look at Boro:
