According to WhoScored, Morelos has now scored 11 goals in 17 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this campaign.

Meanwhile, former Rangers star Ronald de Boer - who has recently been named as the new manager of Major League Soccer outfit Atlanta United - has suggested that Morelos needs to be more calm in order to fulfil his potential.

De Boer told The Glasgow Evening Times about Morelos: "At the same time, Morelos can’t lose that aggression, he has to keep that. To be honest, it is probably one of the reasons he is such a good striker.

“But if he wants to get to the highest level he has to control his temperament and make sure it isn’t a negative influence.”
