Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
McBurnie was impressed with Morelos’s performance for Rangers in their 2-1 win against St. Johnstone away from home in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old Colombia international striker scored both the goals for Steven Gerrard’s side.
According to WhoScored, Morelos has now scored 11 goals in 17 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers this campaign.
McBurnie is a boyhood Rangers fan - as reported by The Daily Record - and the 22-year-old has expressed his admiration of Morelos on Twitter, while former Ibrox midfielder Alex Rae is delighted with the win for Gerrard’s team.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, July 1, 2018), Rangers made a £4.5 million bid for McBurnie in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).

Meanwhile, former Rangers star Ronald de Boer - who has recently been named as the new manager of Major League Soccer outfit Atlanta United - has suggested that Morelos needs to be more calm in order to fulfil his potential.
De Boer told The Glasgow Evening Times about Morelos: "At the same time, Morelos can’t lose that aggression, he has to keep that. To be honest, it is probably one of the reasons he is such a good striker.
“But if he wants to get to the highest level he has to control his temperament and make sure it isn’t a negative influence.”
