Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Mamadou Sakho for Crystal Palace against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

Former Liverpool defender Sakho was in action for Palace during their 3-2 win against City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old central defender was very good at the back for the Eagles and did not allow City much space to work with.

According to WhoScored, the France international had a pass accuracy of 61.5%, won one header, and made one tackle, two interceptions and eight clearances.

The win for Palace means that Liverpool are now four points clear of second-placed City at the top of the Premier League table.

Liverpool fans were pleased to see their former player Sakho play a major role in City’s defeat on Saturday.

The 28-year-old joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013, and after a loan spell at Palace, moved to the London club on a permanent contract in the summer 2017.
