Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Dejan Lovren against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Lovren featured for Liverpool in their Premier League game against Wolves away from home at the Molineux Stadium on Friday evening.
The 29-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Jurgen Klopp’s side won 2-0.
The Croatia international centre-back did not have a particular great game, as the former Lyon and Southampton star fell over once and missed his kick completely later.
There were occasions when Lovren looked unsure at the back, and it did appear that fellow centre-back Virgil van Dijk was helping him out.
According to WhoScored, against Wolves, the 29-year-old had a pass accuracy of 93.8%, won three headers, had 75 touches, and made two tackles, one interception and five clearances.
Some Liverpool fans were not too impressed with Lovren - who joined the Reds from Southampton in the summer of 2014 when Brendan Rodgers, now the Celtic manager, was in charge of the Reds - and have criticised him on Twitter.

#lfc need Pulisic Feker or Ramsey in January and a CB to be serious contenders.— Matt Kirk-Ellis (@mattkirkellis) December 21, 2018
Firmino and Lovren would never make City's squad.
3points and a clean sheet! They'll get better.— Omoge LFC (@SiiratheXplorer) December 22, 2018
But on a serious note though, wtf was wrong with Lovren!?! Could it be that comment he made ?
How good was that win last night for #LFC !— My Surname is Khan™ (@ejaz_k) December 22, 2018
Credit to #Wolves they play some good stuff but Salah and co were in the mood.
Also showed again how good @VirgilvDijk was that despite Lovren trying his utmost to let wolves into the game, VVD was there to clean up.#lfc
Phil Neville saying Lovren is a world class defender. No wonder I don’t rate him as a pundit #LFC— Stevie G (@Benthereds) December 22, 2018
Lovren is the weak link but can’t seem to get past big Virgil— J (@lfctrader) December 22, 2018
Keita had one bad giveaway. At least 3 times Lovren made mistakes that easily could have led to goals. Not here for “Whataboutism.”— Two Red Gringos LFC Pod (@TwoRedGringos) December 22, 2018
Apart from Lovren everything else bang on... Lovren still looks really dodgy #lfc— michael deane (@mickydeane29) December 21, 2018
With the positives from that game, I’m still allowed to hold my hand up and say Lovren was absolutely awful at points in this game.— Two Red Gringos LFC Pod (@TwoRedGringos) December 21, 2018
