Ogbonna has fallen down the pecking order at West Ham.

TransferMarketWeb have claimed that Italian side Bologna are looking to offer West Ham United defender Angelo Ogbonna an escape route back to his home country, but they face competition.
Valencia are also said to be interested in the 30-year-old centre-back, who will not have enjoyed his time under Manuel Pellegrini since the Chilean manager took over from David Moyes.
He has managed just five Premier League appearances all season, with preference going to new signings Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop. Instead, he has warmed the bench as first reserve.
But as a 13-time Italy international, the former Juventus centre-back will believe he is worthy of game time and now a chance to join Europa League side Valencia or return home to Bologna – a move is certainly on the cards.

Ogbonna has played 106 times for West Ham since joining the club in the summer of 2015 from Juventus, for a fee of £8.5million (Daily Mail). His contract runs until June 2022, and is worth £70,000 a week (Spotrac).
West Ham would surely rather keep Ogbonna, who provides a reliable first replacement in case Balbuena or Diop suffer an injury. But if Ogbonna wants to leave, then it is likely West Ham will not stop in his way.
