The Huddersfield Town winger is reportedly being tracked by Yorkshire rivals Middlesbrough and Leeds United.

Huddersfield Town fans are reacting to reports linking Rajiv van La Parra with the Terriers’ Yorkshire rivals, Middlesbrough and Leeds United.

The Sun reports that Boro are lining up a January move for the Huddersfield winger, who it claims Leeds have also been tracking.

And the newspaper adds that selling Van La Parra could land Huddersfield £5 million.

Van La Parra was part of the Terriers side promoted to the Premier League two seasons ago and was a regular in his side’s first campaign back at that level, but has only appeared on five occasions this term and has been struggling with a back problem in recent weeks.

But what do those of a Huddersfield persuasion make of the rumours surrounding the Dutchman – and more so the prospect of losing him to a strong local rival such as Leeds?

This is what they’re saying on Twitter…

Middlesbrough sold winger Adama Traore to Van La Parra’s former club, Wolves, in the summer transfer window, while Leeds have already seen Samu Saiz depart for Getafe, increasing the Whites’ need for attacking reinforcements.
