Crystal Palace are expecting that they will see off competition from West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign Victor Moses in January.

Moses came through the ranks at Selhurst Park before departing eight years ago. The Eagles are keen to bring him back to Selhurst Park next month, and the London Evening Standard reports that they are optimistic about a deal with Chelsea ready to sell the 28-year-old.
Moses spent a season on loan with West Ham earlier in his career. He performed fairly well at Upton Park, but the Hammers decided against taking up the clause that allowed them to make the deal permanent in the summer (via Sky Sports).

After that spell, he returned to Chelsea and proved to be an extremely valuable player during their Premier League title win under Antonio Conte.
Hodgson will be hoping that the Nigeria international will be able to provide some additional creativity to the Palace ranks as they continue to struggle in front of goal.
And, with Palace reportedly in the driving seat, he will also be hoping that West Ham or Wolves do not throw a late spanner in the works as they consider their next move.
