Klopp's bouts against Bayern while at Borussia Dortmund could be an asset when the Reds face the Bundesliga giants, according to Rush.

Liverpool legend Ian Rush has claimed that Jurgen Klopp's experience and knowledge of German football could give the Reds an advantage against Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Because Liverpool finished second in Group C, the draw against the Bundesliga champions will see them lock horns at Anfield in the first leg before travelling to the Allianz Arena in the return leg.
Niko Kovac's Bayern, who finished two points clear of Ajax in the group stage, reached the semi-finals of the competition last season and have progressed past the last 16 in each of the last seven years.
However, the Bavarians have laboured domestically, currently sitting third in the table with three draws and three defeats from their 15 league games so far - and nine points behind Klopp's former side Borussia Dortmund.
Rush, Liverpool's all-time record goalscorer, admits that Bayern will be dangerous for his former club but is confident that, having succeeded in his native Germany, Klopp is well placed to get one over on his former rivals.

"It is very dangerous. Bayern Munich are a fantastic team," Rush is quoted by Sky Sports News as saying.
"With Jurgen in charge as well, a German manager, I am sure he will know all about the German teams. Hopefully that can be to our advantage."
The first leg will take place at Anfield on Tuesday, February 19 before the return leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, March 13.
