The Newcastle United goalkeeper is again being linked with a move to Leeds United.

Newcastle United fans are reacting to fresh reports linking their player, Karl Darlow, with a move to Leeds United.

The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Leeds have made enquiries over Darlow as they look to sign a new goalkeeper at the start of the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old spent the bulk of Newcastle’s 2016-17 Championship-winning campaign as first choice in goal, but has recently fallen behind Martin Dubravka in the Magpies’ pecking order.

And with Freddie Woodman – another Leeds-linked shot-stopper – and Rob Elliot for competition at St James’ Park, a winter move is not unlikely.

But what would those of a Newcastle persuasion make the potential Leeds recruit?

This is what they’re saying about Darlow on Twitter…

Darlow is said to have cost Newcastle £4.5 million from Nottingham Forest four years ago, and is out of contract at the end of next season.

He has made 59 appearances for the Magpies, in which he has conceded 68 goals and kept 20 clean sheets.

Would the Newcastle goalie be a good addition for Leeds United?
