West Ham United fans will be incredibly happy with their side’s recent run of form.

West Ham youngster Declan Rice spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, after his side’s fine away win at Fulham, and took the time to praise the travelling Hammers fans, labelling them as ‘absolutely outstanding’.

Th east London outfit are currently in the midst of a fine run of form, having won four consecutive league games, and they sit in ninth spot in the Premier League, just two points adrift of sixth placed Manchester United.

After losing their first four games of the season, Manuel Pellegrini would surely have been extremely concerned, but the manner in which his side have bounced back really has been outstanding.

And they have been backed every step of the way by their tremendous support, both home and away.

When speaking to reporters, Rice raved about the travelling West Ham fans, highlighting how pleased he was for them that they left Craven Cottage in buoyant mood, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“Typical West Ham fans! They were absolutely outstanding. They come every game – away or home – and it’s outstanding from them. To give them the three points, in this weather, is special!”

Next up for West Ham is a home game against Watford on Saturday, and a victory could take Pellegrini’s men as high as sixth in the table, and what an incredible turnaround that would be from a couple of months ago.
