Nahki Wells, signed on loan from Burnley, scored for Queens Park Rangers against Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Burnley-owned forward Nahki Wells against Middlesbrough at the weekend.

Wells, signed on loan from Premier League club Burnley in the summer transfer window, was in action for QPR in their Championship game against Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in London on Saturday afternoon.

The 28-year-old forward started the game and played until the third minute of injury time, as Rangers won 2-1.

 

The Bermuda international played well for the London club and scored what proved to be the winner on the hour mark.

According to WhoScored, Wells took six shots, had a pass accuracy of 84.2%, won one header, and made two tackles.

The former Huddersfield Town forward has made 15 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for QPR so far this season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

QPR fans were impressed with the performance of Wells and have praised him on Twitter.
