Queens Park Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Burnley-owned forward Nahki Wells against Middlesbrough at the weekend.
Wells, signed on loan from Premier League club Burnley in the summer transfer window, was in action for QPR in their Championship game against Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in London on Saturday afternoon.
The 28-year-old forward started the game and played until the third minute of injury time, as Rangers won 2-1.
The Bermuda international played well for the London club and scored what proved to be the winner on the hour mark.
According to WhoScored, Wells took six shots, had a pass accuracy of 84.2%, won one header, and made two tackles.
The former Huddersfield Town forward has made 15 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for QPR so far this season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Wells is priceless
Nahki Wells has been on a year recently, and I want with all my heart for QPR to sign him on a permanent deal come next month— Joe Booty (@jbeaudet17) December 16, 2018
Never say never with Amit in charge. If we want to progress as a club players like wells need to stay simple. Plus we have many out of contract frees up funds. Most importantly HE is enjoying it and open to staying!— SUPERHOOP (@SUPERHOOPA86) December 16, 2018
Great 3 points for @QPR yesterday. Weather was atrocious but not as bad as the football played by Tony Pulis’ team. How they are 6th in the league is baffling. Wells makes a massive difference and Wszolek just runs and runs. Could we actually win away at Forest? #QPR— Nick Michell (@NickMichell1) December 16, 2018
Thought Cousins had his best game for us yesterday...very impressed. Also more and more impressed with Wells every game...real quality #QPR— Brian Doherty (@briandoherty50) December 16, 2018
Wells and that winning goal was superb, he has been superb for us, would love him to stay. This whole squad is what we want from a football team. Wherever we finish this season, does make you feel good with a proper team spirit at the club again.— James Privett (@james_privett10) December 15, 2018
Nakhi Wells is a fantastic player. Man, we are so lucky to have him. What a guy #QPR— Pete Morris (@PeteMorrisPMC) December 15, 2018
