Marco Silva’s Everton lost to Manchester City at the weekend.
Michael Ball has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Everton’s defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.
Everton suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Pep Guardiola’s side were always in control and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Former Everton and City left-back Ball was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result.
While Ball has praised the Citizens for their performance, he has criticised Marco Silva’s Everton for their defending.
Probably City’s weakest starting X11 this season – can u say that!— Michael Ball (@bally03) December 15, 2018
Still million miles ahead of anyone! Just think people used to laugh at City.
Same old problems for EFC – Soft goals & for how many season we are just going to let crosses come into the box? #Schoolboy
Everton could have done better defensively against City, but it is hard to defend against a team full of world-class attacking players.
Moreover, the Toffees did create chances, and perhaps if they had taken them, then the result would have been different.
Everton now need to move on from the defeat to City and prepare for their next league game, which is against Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park.
