Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard reportedly wants Everton’s Kieran Dowell at Ibrox.

Liverpool legend Gerrard, though, has refused to say whether or not he wants to bring the 21-year-old on loan to Ibrox in the January transfer window.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Dowell: “I definitely admire him. He’s an Under-21 international.
“He’s a player I admire but there’s not really anything else to say on that at the moment as he’s an Everton player.”

Rangers interest
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are interested in signing Dowell on loan from Premier League club Everton in the January transfer window.
It has been reported that Rangers manager Gerrard sees the 21-year-old attacking midfielder as a direct replacement for Ovie Ejaria.
Ejaria joined the Gers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, but the 21-year-old midfielder has returned to his parent club.
Good replacement
Dowell is a very good and promising young attacking midfielder, and the youngster will be a good short-term signing for Rangers.
The Gers could do with a number 10 to create chances for the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Kyle Lafferty, and the Everton youngster – who is valued at €7.9 million (£7.1m) by the CIES Football Observatory – will do just that.
