Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic will face Hibernian this afternoon.

Celtic will be looking to maintain their good run of form in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon when they take on Hibernian away from home at Easter Road.

Brendan Rodgers’s side are second in the league table at the moment with 33 points from 15 matches.

The Hoops are just a point behind leaders Kilmarnock, who have played 18 games, and two points clear of third-placed and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 16 matches.

Scott Brown and an emotional Celtic farewell

Celtic hammered Kilmarnock 5-1 at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership last weekend.

On Thursday evening, though, the Glasgow giants suffered a 2-1 defeat to RB Salzburg in the Europa League.

That did not prevent Celtic from progressing to the round of 32 of the European competition, though.

Meanwhile, Hibernian find themselves eighth in the standings with 23 points from 16 games.
