Tony Fernandes reacts to QPR win against Middlesbrough

Queens Park Rangers have bounced back from their defeat to Leeds United at Elland Road last weekend with a 2-1 win against Middlesbrough at home on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers headed into the match against Middlesbrough at Loftus Road in London on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Leeds.

Boro have one of the best squads in the Championship and were expected to win at Loftus Road this afternoon.

 

However, QPR got the better of Tony Pulis’s side 2-1 at home, thanks to goals from Pawel Wszolek and Nahki Wells.

QPR chairman Amit Bhatia has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Middlesbrough, and so has former Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Loftus Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts QPR had 49% of the possession, took 17 shots of which two were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

The win against Middlesbrough means that QPR are now 13th in the Championship table with 31 points from 22 matches.
